Congratulations again to Jordan Harston who is an established member of the Durham County Liberty Trophy squad and played well in the semi final against Cambridgeshire on the 29th Feb Durham County go on from a great victory there to play Devon in the final at Nottingham on Saturday the 21st March 2020. We wish him and the whole team the best of luck.
Congratulations and well done to Jordan Harston and Matthew Gleeson members of the successful Durham County Under 25 team who comprehensively defeated Cambridgeshire at Doncaster last Sunday in the National Under 25 Inter County semi final and go on to the National final against Somerset at Nottingham on Saturday the 4th April 2020. We wish them and their colleagues the best of luck.
Congratulations and well done to Marie and David Quickmire who have qualified to play in the Final Stages of the National Family Pairs Championship at Nottingham on the 17th March 2020. I am sure we all wish them the very best of luck.
The Seniors won their section in the County Seniors League and will play Hartleppol B in the knockout stage quarter final on the 20th March at home starting at 10.30.
Both the Ladies and mens teams were in action again yesterday. The Ladies against Durham in the Yetton Trophy were victorious winning by 1 shot overall. The mens team playing Thornaby in the Denny PLate had a more comfortable win. The Ladies now play Cumbria while the men play Blackpool Newton Hall both ties to be played on Saturday 7th December 2019.
The mens seniors yesterday won by 40 shots to 27 against The Parks in the National O60's Double Rink and now play West Denton on the 26th November 2019.
Both the Ladies and mens teams were in action yesterday. The Ladies against Hartlepool in the Yetton Trophy were victorious winning by 4 shots overall. The mens team playing Redcar in the Denny PLate also had a real tussle but came out winning by 5 shots overall. The Ladies now play either Durham or Houghton while the men play Thornaby both ties to be played on Saturday 16th November 2019.
